How to Put your Two Files Together in Photoshop
  1. Open both your Drawing and Spray Paper files in Photoshop.
  1. To increase some of the color of the Spray Paper, you should use the Adjustments Tools panel.
      Some helpful tools include…
  • Brightness/Contrast
  • Hue/Saturation
  • Vibrance




  1. When done adjusting Spray Paper colors, you can now go to your Drawing file. After you have made sure that it is “cleaned up” (cropped, all black markings gone, etc) do the following steps…
  1. Ctrl- A (select the whole image)
  2. Ctrl- C (copy)
  3. Go to your Spray Paper file
  4. Ctrl-V (paste)
  1. Your drawing should now be on top of your Spray Paper. If you need to make the Drawing bigger or smaller, use Ctrl-T and move the boxes on the corners to change the size. When done, press Enter
  1. Now to get rid of the white that is showing, use the Magic Wand tool to select the white you want to get rid of.

After choosing what you want to get rid of, press the Backspace button.
  1. Use Ctrl- D to Deselect.

Spot Healing Brush Tool

  The Spot Healing Brush Tool is the default "healing"  and can be used to clone areas from an image and blend the pixels from the sampled area seamlessly with the target area. With it, you literally take a spot of some kind (usually a pimple or some type of scar mark) and can heal it, or make it go away. Below is a Before and After . We will begin to day to create our own unique animal hybrids. They can be from your own choosing, or you can reference mythical examples (centaur, hippogriff, minotaur, etc). 2) Insert the pictures into Photoshop. You will need to use a variety of different tools to blend the animals together. Some tools in particular are...      - Layer Mask      - Selection Tools (Magic Wand, Quick Selection, Lasso)      - Copy & Paste 3) Keep in mind the background you are using.
