  3. Is there anything you are interested in learning/trying in Media Arts later this year? It can be a form of art making, techniques in Photoshop, specific project ideas, etc

    My favorite project over the year was the city spaces because it was fun to choose different colors and layers for each of the buildings. And it was interesting to see the buildings behind one another so it wont block anything. My least favorite project was selective coloring because it was hard and confusing to select a part of the image that you want black and white. It was hard to use the magic wand and selective color because you have to be very careful with what you choose. Maybe, this year we should learn how to make an image shiny and use a technique to have more than one image maybe multiple images of the same picture.

Spot Healing Brush Tool

  The Spot Healing Brush Tool is the default "healing"  and can be used to clone areas from an image and blend the pixels from the sampled area seamlessly with the target area. With it, you literally take a spot of some kind (usually a pimple or some type of scar mark) and can heal it, or make it go away. Below is a Before and After . Create an Animal Hybrid

We will begin to day to create our own unique animal hybrids. They can be from your own choosing, or you can reference mythical examples (centaur, hippogriff, minotaur, etc). 2) Insert the pictures into Photoshop. You will need to use a variety of different tools to blend the animals together. Some tools in particular are...      - Layer Mask      - Selection Tools (Magic Wand, Quick Selection, Lasso)      - Copy & Paste 3) Keep in mind the background you are using.
