5 More Photos due today!

Today, 5 more photos from your scavenger hunt are due. You should have sent them to yourself before this class. 

 At this point you should have a total of 10 images!!

 During class today, you are to edit your images in Photoshop. Some helpful tools include...

    Crop tool

    Adjustments- Hue/Saturation
                         - Brightness/Contrast
                         - Color Balance
                         - Black and White
For anyone that does NOT have their images, you will complete a photographer research sheet today. Not having all of your photos next class will result in writing an essay about that photographer, due at the end of next class period.

Spot Healing Brush Tool

  The Spot Healing Brush Tool is the default "healing"  and can be used to clone areas from an image and blend the pixels from the sampled area seamlessly with the target area. With it, you literally take a spot of some kind (usually a pimple or some type of scar mark) and can heal it, or make it go away. Below is a Before and After . The chicken pox marks are no longer there!  When using the Spot Healing Brush tool, some things to keep in mind are...     1) Make the brush about the same size as the mark/spot you are trying to remove     2) Use single clicks with your mouse- dragging it can lead to weird color distortions Try using the Spot Healing Brush tool on the following images... 1) Oh no! Create an Animal Hybrid

We will begin to day to create our own unique animal hybrids. They can be from your own choosing, or you can reference mythical examples (centaur, hippogriff, minotaur, etc). 2) Insert the pictures into Photoshop. You will need to use a variety of different tools to blend the animals together. Some tools in particular are...      - Layer Mask      - Selection Tools (Magic Wand, Quick Selection, Lasso)      - Copy & Paste 3) Keep in mind the background you are using.
