Week 9 (5/18-5/22) - Abstract Photography

This week I wanted to try a new format of presenting information/the assignment. To view it as a slideshow, you can click HERE

Abstract photography is a photograph where the true identity of the subject is
not defined.

Assignment: due Friday, 5/22

1. On your blog, choose your favorite abstract photographer shown above. Explain...
  • Which photographer is your favorite? Why?
  • Does this photographer inspire you in any way taking photos for this assignment
2. Take 3 close up photos of different objects to create your own abstract photos.

Make sure that the viewer of your image can not tell what it is. Even though it is close up, make sure the image is clear and focused! Feel free to edit the images as well before you post them on your blog.

Here is a link with some more tips to try and consider when doing abstract photography

If you are unable to do this assignment for technical reasons, LET ME KNOW! I will give you an alternate assignment.
